PANO: Polish Independence Day Celebration 2019

 POLISH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Polish Association in Great Britain [PWWB] and the IPN History Station London invite you to a historical event dedicated to the Celebration of the Anniversary of Poland’s Independence in 1919

                                              10th of November 2019  (Sunday and Monday)

         at The Polish Hearth (55 Princes Gate, Exhibition Road, London SW7 2PN).  

 

                                                SCHEDULE – Sunday 10th November

1.00pm Exhibition Opens

2.00pm Welcome and Exhibition Tour by the PWWB Leader, Dr Marek Laskiewicz

 

4.30pm Concert (15-20 min)

4.50pm Exhibition Tour by Dr Laskiewicz

 

5.30pm Lecture “Polish Successes in Partitioned Poland” by Dr Laskiewicz and Exhibition Tour

 

7.00pm Exhibition Closes.

 

Free Entry.

The Exhibition ”The Polish independence gene” will be in the Ballroom; it comprises 20 historical displays covering 150 years of fighting for Poland’s independence; it is open for viewing on Sunday  1.00-7.00pm.

It was prepared by Mateusz Lipko, BA, National Education Bureau, Institute of National Remembrance [IPN], Szczecin; the descriptions are in Polish, but there will be tours in English.
